Terms of Use
Last updated 1 July 2026
These terms govern your use of ChefComply’s web and iOS apps. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
The service
ChefComply provides digital HACCP checklists, temperature logs, corrective-action tracking, and audit-ready reports for professional kitchens. It is a record-keeping tool that helps you run and evidence your food-safety routine. It does not replace your legal responsibility to operate safely or to comply with the food-safety regulations that apply to your business.
Accounts and staff
You are responsible for the accuracy of the records entered under your organisation, for keeping login credentials and staff PINs secure, and for the activity of the team members you invite. Roles (owner, manager, staff) determine what each member can do.
Subscription and billing
ChefComply is offered as a subscription after a free trial. On iOS, the subscription (ChefComply Pro, monthly or annual) is sold through Apple In-App Purchase; payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation, and the subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Subscriptions purchased on the web are billed through Stripe. One active subscription entitles your whole organisation.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service: no attempting to breach security or access other organisations’ data, no reverse engineering, no reselling the service, and no uploading unlawful content. We may suspend accounts that do.
Your data
Your kitchen’s data belongs to you. We process it as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export audit reports at any time and request deletion of your data.
Availability and disclaimer
We work hard to keep ChefComply available and accurate, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, ChefComply is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any regulatory outcome arising from your food-safety operations. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms as the product changes; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. You may stop using ChefComply and cancel your subscription at any time.
